 Kailash Ambwani
President and Chief Executive Officer
Kailash Ambwani is a successful entrepreneur and senior executive with more
than 18 years in the consumer and enterprise software and services industries.
Prior to joining FaceTime, Ambwani was Chief Operating Officer of Genesys
Conferencing S.A., the leading global provider of audio, video and web
conferencing and collaboration services with 2002 revenues of $210M. As COO,
Ambwani was responsible for all Front Office operations worldwide including
sales, marketing, service, and regional P&L.
Before his tenure at Genesys, Ambwani co-founded Astound Incorporated, a
leading venture backed player in the emerging web conferencing and
collaboration market, and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer until
it was acquired by Genesys Conferencing. Preceding Astound, Ambwani founded and
ran several software companies in the consumer and business productivity area
including Gold Disk Inc., a leading, venture backed provider of video editing
and multimedia authoring tools for the Windows PC.
Mr. Ambwani is a graduate of McMaster University where he received a Master of
Science in Theoretical Astrophysics and a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical
Physics, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Tim Conley
Chief Financial Officer
Tim brings extensive strategic and tactical financial management experience to FaceTime gained during
more than 25 years as CFO for both private and publicly owned technology companies. He has provided
the financial leadership that resulted in successful initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers, acquisitions
and various other financing events.
Prior to joining the company, Conley was the CFO of Tumbleweed Communications (now Axway), which specialized
in secure e-mail and file transfer technology for enterprise and government networks. Previously, he
was Vice President of Finance and CFO of Valicert Inc., a technology company specializing in secure
Internet communications and identity validation software for file transfer, financial messaging, and
business process integration. Valicert was acquired by Tumbleweed in 2003.
Tim is a certified public accountant and worked with technology companies while at Price Waterhouse
where he was an audit manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting
emphasis, from the University of Wisconsin, Superior.
Sarah Carter
Vice President, Marketing
As Vice President for Marketing, Sarah leads the Marketing, PR and Analyst Relations teams. Graduating
from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Business and a specialism in Marketing, Sarah's career
began with IBM and then a software developer in Vancouver, Canada.
Returning to the UK, Sarah joined Harrier Group plc – one of the UK's leading security and storage integrators
and ultimately led both the Sales and Marketing teams of both divisions. As a Board Member, Sarah was
an integral member of the team that led to successful flotation on AIM in 1999, three subsequent acquisitions
and the sale of the businesses in 2005.
Sarah has spent four years working with FaceTime's customers and partners throughout Europe and Asia
and recently relocated to HQ in Belmont, California. Sarah works with FaceTime financial services clients
on best practice social media and collaboration strategies in both Europe and the USA and regularly
speaks on the topic on both continents.
Herb Joiner
Vice President of Engineering
Herb Joiner brings over 25 years of executive management and architecture
engineering experience in the software industry to his role as Vice President
of Engineering for FaceTime.
During Joiner's career his work has spanned the entire spectrum of the
engineering development life-cycle, from R&D to O&M in both domestic
and international environments. Prior to FaceTime, Joiner held senior executive
management and architect positions in engineering with companies such as
Voyence, Sniffer Technologies (Network Associates), i2 Technologies, Raytheon
and E-Systems.
In Joiner's previous assignment as Vice President of Engineering for start-up
Voyence he grew the engineering team to five times it's size to scale for
growth and deliver on an aggressive product development timeline. Before
Voyence, Joiner was Vice President for Sniffer Technologies where he led the
development of over twenty products including the flagship distributed and
portable products. He was also responsible for leading the Sniffer Next
Generation efforts and personally authored and submitted eleven patents within
the network arena during his time with the company. Joiner also spent 18 years
with E-Systems and Raytheon designing and implementing complex high-end systems
and performed in various roles including architect and development management.
Joiner has six networking patents in his name with an additional five in
submission with the US patent office. Joiner holds both Bachelor of Science and
Master of Science degrees in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii.
Deric Moilliet
Vice President of Sales - Americas
As Vice President of Sales - Americas, Deric Moilliet leads the worldwide
business development efforts for FaceTime, as well as the company's sales and
systems engineering organizations in North America, South/Latin America, and
Asia/Pacific regions.
Moilliet brings 23 years of sales and information technology experience to
FaceTime and most recently served as Senior Vice President, Sales for
Maplesoft, a leading developer of advanced mathematical and analytical
software. Moilliet led the company's international expansion resulting in a
160% growth in revenue year over year.
Prior to Maplesoft, Moilliet was Vice President of Global Accounts for Genesys
Conferencing, the leading global provider of audio, video and web conferencing
and collaboration services. Moilliet managed an international sales team in New
York, London and Paris and was responsible for Genesys Conferencing's largest
accounts. Moilliet has held VP of sales positions with several venture-backed
start-ups and began his career as the first financial sales representative for
Sun Microsystems and Sybase, where he went on to manage sales for Canada.
Moilliet has a Bachelors of Commerce from Queen's University at Kingston and an
MBA in Finance from University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business.
 Nick Sears
Vice President, EMEA
As Vice President for FaceTime, Nick Sears is responsible for operations, sales
and customer implementation in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Nick brings over 15 years of experience in IT security and technology markets
and most recently was head of US operations at Web and spyware security firm,
Finjan Software. During his five year tenure, he was responsible for direct and
indirect sales operations in Europe and the USA. Prior to Finjan, Nick spent
seven years at European networking distributor, Azlan. During this time, he
held several director level positions including UK sales director, responsible
for a $200m sales operation and building markets for companies including
Checkpoint, Cisco and Netscape.
Mark Sheridan
Vice President, Business Development
Mark Sheridan is Vice President of Business Development at FaceTime Communications. Mark leads the team
focused on strategic alliances and ecosystem development that are responsible for FaceTime's ISV, SI
and OEM partnerships. Mark has almost 15 years experience in enterprise software working on archiving
and collaborative technologies at market leading companies such as EMC, Documentum, Autonomy and eRoom.
Mark is a graduate of Harvard University.
Sridhar Vutukuri
Vice President and Country Head, India
Sridhar Vutukuri is responsible for product development, operations,
information technology, and engineering support services in FaceTime's India
location. He has 18 years of product development and services experience,
having held numerous engineering management roles across a variety of
industries, including software, finance, banking, security, defense and
aerospace.
Prior to joining FaceTime, Vutukuri was most recently head of Tumbleweed
Communications' subsidiary in India where he successfully built and established
a key engineering division for the company from the ground up. Before
Tumbleweed Vutukuri was Vice President of Engineering for CyberCash India Pvt.
Ltd. In that role Vutukuri served as the head of India operations and was
responsible for technical direction, R&D, recruitment and external company
communications. For nearly 6 years, Vutukuri worked for Tata Consultancy
Services, the largest IT consulting firm in India, managing high-end consulting
engagements, offshore development projects and complex system development for
Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Vutukuri holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SVU
College of Engineering in Tirupati, India.
